Delinquencies for credit cards and major consumer loans fall : An article from: Hoosier Banker
According to the American Bankers Association’s latest Consumer Credit Delinquency Bulletin, the number of people past due on their credit card bills decreased, as did delinquency rates for all major consumer loans tracked in the American Bankers Association’s latest Consumer Credit Delinquency Bulletin. Credit card delinquencies fell to 3.81% of accounts in the 3rd quarter of 2002 from 3.91% in the 2nd quarter. The composite ratio of closed-end installment loans 30 days or massed past due also fell, to 2.06% of all accounts – the lowest in farther than 2 years – from 2.17% in the 2nd quarter.
